I had an outer body experience yesterday. We were at Where The Action Is and saw Brandon Flowers perform, playing a couple of his new songs, amongst them the two fantastic Only The Young and Crossfire.
He then played the old The Killers hit Read My Mind which was a favourite for a long time. And I remember saying; "what if he would play Mr Brightside in Lu Conte style..." As If, I thought to myself. So when the intro came on I think I almost lost my mind. Absolutely felt like a 14-year old again. But it was a special moment. I´ve really kept that song with me for a long time. And now heard it live. The circle is complete and I will die a happy girl.

I heard this musical duo on Way Out West and fell in love. Something about the way they act on stage, as if they are in their own world. The fact that they really are a couple and that they´re both blind might add to this. Anyway. A great song to kickstart newyears.
ARVIKAFESTIVALEN 2011
The highlight of summer. Last years greatest performance was Miike Snow, followed by Regina Spektor, Kent, Robyn and of course Simian Mobile Disco. I´m anxious about this years lineup. Rumours are cirkulating as always. I desire a concert with Nine Inch Nails and Daft Punk. (Not together.)
